Mayfair Library

libraryThe Mayfair Library is an attractive community library with a children’s section. It has been serving the community since it was purpose-built in 1894.

A wide variety of events are run for all our customers including weekly Under 5’s and homework sessions, monthly reading groups meetings, investment courses, choir meetings and performances, author talks and special events such as Murder Mystery evenings.

Upcoming events at the Mayfair Library can be found online, as can information about opening times and services.

More information about regular events can also be found on the Friends of Mayfair Library Facebook page.

At the Summer Fair this year the Mayfair Library will be selling ex-library books and running our very popular ‘decorate your fairy cake’ stall. There will be face and hand painting and then you can have your photo taken by a professional photographer. All money raised goes towards children’s activities and new toys for the library.

There is an active Friends of Mayfair Library group who meet regularly and help raise the profile of the library as well as organise events to raise funds for the library.

Please do join if you can help in any way. https://www.westminster.gov.uk/friends-mayfair-library

It is also an approved venue for wedding and civil partnership ceremonies.  https://www.westminster.gov.uk/get-married-mayfair
